Version Tab
This page lets you choose between three different styles for
Help system you create.
- Frames version - this version of help system offers most
features and better page download times. There is a small drawback
however: search engines perform partial indexing of frames version
help systems. This mode is recommended for creating large help
systems(unavailable in chm2web mobile).
- No frames version - allows creation of help systems
totally indexed by search engines. This mode is recommended for
small help systems since table of contents consisting of more than
20-30 items will complicate the overall help system
navigation(unavailable in chm2web mobile).
- Mobile version - allows creation of help systems
optimized for viewing with PDA. Recommended Software: for PocketPC
- Pocket Internet Explorer; for PalmOS - ISilo; for Psion - Opera.
If your help file is rather large set the 'General \ Split
Contents' option to speed up loading documentation on PDA.
